Brian has just produced the ‘Pudd Bomb’ edition for the ‘Answers on the Front of a Postcard’ exhibition at the Opus Gallery, Newcastle, which runs from 2nd December 2011 until 27 January 2012.

Censored again: ‘Brokeback Britain’, which was showing in public for the first time at the ‘Fistfull of Dolydd’ exhibition at the Workhouse Gallery, Llanfyllin, was removed from the show as one person complained about the work. The artist withdrew his 5 other works from the show in protest.

‘Art Tube 01’ Brian's ‘Trains V2’ panel, produced ‘collaboratively’ with Jamie Reid will be showing at the Subway Gallery, London, as part of the ‘Art Tube 01’ exhibition, to coincide with the 10th anniversary of the project. The show runs from 1st - 26th November at the Subway Gallery, Kiosk 1 Joe Strummer Subway, Edgware Rd / Harrow Rd, London W2 1DX.

“Artist Can Draw Shock!” Brian has been commissioned by the Environment Agency and the Severn Rivers Trust to produce three illustrative maps, covering the sections of the River Cain that can be fished. A slight departure from his usual works, the various elements have been met with what can only be described as shock. “There are a lot of people who seem shocked that an artist can actually draw!”. The series of drawings will be added to the Clients section of this site in the near future.

Brian is showing six pieces for the first time at the ‘A Fistfull of Dolydd’ group show at the Workhouse, Llanfyllin from 1st. October until 28th October.

Four original oil paintings from Brian's ‘Great American Flag’ series will show for the first time at Opus Gallery's ‘Summer Exhibition’, which runs from Mon 8th August to Friday 2nd September. For further details call +44 (0) 191 232 7389 or contact Opus-art.

Oli Bennett Secret Card Sale : Brian, along with a number of other artists, has been asked to produce postcard-sized artworks to raise funds for the Oli Bennett Charitable Trust. These cards are all signed on the verso by the contributing artists; all cards will be viewable online from 13th June, (which is prior to the sale) at Oli Bennett Secret Card Sale. Brian has produced a small edition of six mini screen prints; unfortunately, we're not allowed to tell you of which image, as it's a secret!

‘Brokeback Britain’ Censored : The artist's ‘Brokeback Britain’ print was selected for, framed, and included in the catalogue for the Wrexham Print International 2011, but was banned from public showing by the Chief Officer for Leisure, Libraries and Culture, from Wrexham County Borough Council. The decision has created much media interest in the work, and in the artist himself. However, Brian is reticent to step into the media spotlight directly, as in the words of the artist himself “This story is about censorship, not celebrity”.

Wrexham Print International 2011 have selected the artist's ‘Brokeback Britain’ and ‘Eyeless on Gaza’ prints for this years show, which runs from 25th March to 18th May at Oriel Wrecsam, before touring Britain for the next twelve months.
