Brian’s ‘lockdown’ piece, the “Giant Matchbox” coffee table has been installed at it’s new owner’s home, where it is a centre-piece to a backdrop of original works by Picasso, Chagall, Lowry and Schiele

Group show at Ucheldre

Brian’s “Lleynscapes” are showing as part of a group show at Ucheldre, Caer Gybi/Holyhead. This exhibition features works by the artists and poets from the other sections of the Wales Coast Path.

“Lleynscapes”

November 1st sees the opening of the artist’s “Lleynscapes” produced for the Wales Coast Path 10th anniversary celebrations. The exhibition features Brian’s works on the Lleyn section alongside a specially commissioned poem by Guto Dafydd. The show runs from 1st November up to New Year at Plas Glyn y Weddw, Lleyn Peninsula, Wales.

“Anything But Dull”

“Anything But Dull” (The Art and Life of Jeff Nuttall) by James Charnley has now been published by Academica and is certainly worth a read. Brian was interviewed by the author and gave an account of Nuttall’s resignation fiasco.

“Bryn Offa” in Abergavenny

Brian’s “Bryn Offa” print is showing at the Art Shop gallery, Abergavenny for six weeks starting on 1st August.

Jones Goes West

10 artists and 10 poets selected for the Wales Coast Path project Brian has been invited to depict the Lleyn Penninsula as part of the Anniversary celebrations alongside poet Guto Dafydd (check him out)

“American Blues” has flown

Brian’s “American Blues” oil painting has just been safely delivered to a client in Switzerland. This work was damaged by the police in their anti-fraud raid on the Opus Gallery. It was then held in police custody for two years before being returned to the artist. The client was delighted to know the full story of the work’s creation and subsequent happenings.

Oriel Jones Gallery

Brian is currently showing works as part of the oJg mid-Wales pop-up exhibition, alongside the other four Urban Rurals, plus works by Peter Blake, Joe Tilson, Jamie Reid and Richard Hamiltion

Llanfyllin Open Studios

Brian is taking part in the second Llanfyllin Open Studios weekend with Bob Guy and Liz Neal. This will take place on the weekend of 11th and 12th November at Llanfyllin Workshouse and Ael y Bryn studio.
